The Abbeyfield Living Society is committed to protecting the environment by ensuring environmental management is integral to Abbeyfield’s decision-making processes. This enables us to enhance environmental performance and demonstrate continuous improvement.
The Abbeyfield Society is fully committed to:
- Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations as a minimum and fulfilling all compliance obligations that form part of our commitment to enhance ALS’s environmental performance.
- The continual enhancement of our climate and energy related performance year on year, working towards Net Zero by 2050.
- Strengthening our ability to adapt to climate change.
- The prevention of pollution through operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
- The implementation and continual improvement of an Environmental Management System to ensure the successful management of the above.
