Hale Court is well situated on a quiet street in Tunbridge Wells, which is situated in the beautiful Weald of Kent. Our lovely apartments are designed for independent living for older people, offering a comfortable, private home. Staff are on site 24 hours a day, providing the assurance that help is always at hand, so you can fully enjoy your retirement.

We offer 19 high-quality apartments, including 14 one-bedroom rental options. Every apartment is thoughtfully designed for retirement living, enabling you to live as independently as you wish. Each apartment features your own private front door, a fully equipped kitchen with good storage, and a wet room (an easy-access shower room). Our apartments are great for couples, and friends and family are welcome to stay overnight.

Our shared spaces are perfect for socialising or relaxing, including a friendly communal lounge and our beautifully landscaped gardens. In our dining room (which has a small kitchen for making hot drinks), we provide a delicious two-course meal for all residents every day. These communal areas offer great opportunities to spend time with others.

We are conveniently located less than a mile from the town centre, near excellent local amenities. The train station is 1.5 miles away (only 44 minutes by train to London Bridge), and there’s a bus service to Tonbridge, Maidstone, to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury. We are also within 5 minutes walk of supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, churches, dentists, chemists, hairdressers and petrol stations. Enjoy all the area has to offer! 

Hale Court is close to many great local attractions. For shopping, you can visit the Royal Victoria Place which is half a mile away and is West Kent’s largest shopping centre with a wide selection of shops including Fenwick and Primark. The two Tunbridge Wells Theatres and the Amelia Scott Museum are only 0.7 miles from Hale Court. About 1.5 miles away you’ll find The Pantiles, a famous tree flanked colonnaded walkway with over 70 independent stores, bars, restaurants and art galleries. The Pantiles also hosts open air music (like Jazz in the Pantiles), food festivals and farmers markets. To relax outdoors, visit Calverley Grounds, a beautifully landscaped park where you can take a stroll at lunchtime and sit and eat lunch, or a picnic.
